As a photographer and a cinematographer, my passion revolves around innovation and creativity, allowing me to hone my skills to a much higher level through constantly evolving my craft and only letting my imagination be the sole limiting factor of my work. I have worked for a range of companies, all of which had videography and photography at its core where I have been able to develop my skills as a professional media practitioner to an incredibly high standard. Although videography/cinematography is a large part of what I do, my main passion lies with photography and has done so for as long as I can remember.
My creative workflow has constantly evolved but to produce my current photography, I often focus on using shallow depth of field partnered with 100mm+ telescopic lenses to provide a cinematic feel to my images that sometimes can't be achieved unless extremely close to a subject. What I photograph can vary, the main two aspects I prefer to focus on are people and motorsports. Regardless of subject, I often edit the photos the same using custom presets to increase contrast but changing the main colour palette to produce photos that are visually appealing but also have an air of mystery, providing intrigue to the casual viewer.
Although I prioritise photography in my own career, videography is a significant part of what I do; I have made or co-created advertisements for companies such as StreetCars, Savills estate agents and many other small businesses along the way. I have also produced and been involved with the production of several pieces of short form media, most of which being publicised with around 20K views. Through my personal photography however, I aim for crafting pieces of media not yet seen by anyone; a conscious attempt at trying to create something universally unique whilst also linking pieces of work to common themes.
